One of the most rewarding aspects of launching DIOSA has been meeting amazing women along the way. I already knew a bunch of amazing, strong, and independent women whom I met in childhood, college, and my IT career. I didn't doubt for a second that there were more women like them out there.... but I have been lucky to work closely with a new set of women. I like to call them "Nail Phile Nail".  This is my corny and what I think is a witty reference to a nail sorority referencing the greek letters Nu...


CBGB Music Festival, Times Square

On Oct. 12 I had to opportunity to vend at the CBGB Music Festival in Times Square. The weather was gorgeous and perfect for Fall. What I enjoyed most was the mixed crowd.  It was also the debut of my new booth setup which included table cloth and new banner! Kim also joined me all the way from VA!

 

 

 

 

 


maniCUREs for Breast Cancer

I partnered with The Cherry Girls of NYC to bring maniCUREs for Breast Cancer to NYC. We planned the event to raise funds for SHARE, a breast and ovarian support center located in NYC. Our goal was to raise $1,000... and we did it! Yes, we raised $1,000 that night!

We could not have been successful without the help of our sponsors:  Cafe Nunez, Golden Krust, The Tailor Made Life, DIOSA friend (Craig), and Allison Tibbs

Cajole: An Engaging Custom Art Experience

Cajole is a french word meaning to "persuade someone to do something by sustained coaxing or flattery".... we wanted to entice the Cajole audience with art! I Got Pink Eye in association with DIOSA Nails & Polish brought together a handful of extremely talented artists with a focus on nail art. 

The day started off miserably and was filled with a down pour of rain and a crazy humidity index. However, the weather was gorgeous by the time the event started.
